HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPANY
SELAJAGIR Trading PLC is a merger of two sole proprietorships which were working independently in two deferent sectors; in logistics and garment manufacturing. The name of these companies was Girma Kebede Gemtessa Customs Clearing & Forwarding and Netaniya design (Selamawit Tadele Traditional Clothing.) In October 2019, these two companies consolidated and form a new company.
ESTABLISHMENT
SELAJAGIR Trading PLC is an independent, family-run, and family-owned business based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It was established by two shareholders in October 2019 with paid-up capital of ETB 2,000,000.00 (two million ) with twenty-two permanent employees. Nowadays it’s paid-up capital increased to ETB 16,000,000.00 ( sixteen million ) and the number of permanent employees increased to one hundred thirty-five.
OUR PRODUCTS / SERVICES
We deliver customs clearing, freight forwarding, inland transport services through our logistics sector. And our garment sector manufactures different types of knitted and woven garments for women, men, and children. Items we produce include traditional clothing, T-shirts, polo shirts, sportswear, underwear, uniforms, and more.
